Josiah Gladwell’s debut LP under the moniker K-LONE is a thing of true beauty. Having released a handful of EP’s already on a UKG / bass tip, the Bristol based producer explores a lighter, more genteel side on ‘Cape Cira’. What can I say? It is certainly right up our avenue and we can’t get enough of it here at No Bad Days. Tones of ambient, modern classical, field recordings, house and new age flow throughout. Arguably my electronic album of the year so far, getting big thumbs up from both Gabriel and myself. Genevieve Slater and Guillaume de Ubéda’s accompanying artwork is also worth a shout, really great work all around.
‘Cape Cira’ by K-LONE is out now via Wisdom Teeth.
